JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance (Test Automation)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions, support decision-making, and mentor team members.
  • Oversee the design, execution, and maintenance of manual/automated tests based on user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and implement best practices to optimize existing testing processes.
  • Manage documentation to ensure completeness, consistency, and clarity.
  • Champion compliance and industry standards while resolving testing issues.
  • Foster strong team collaboration and alignment on goals and timelines.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
  • Responsible for end-to-end test automation execution.
  • Requires expertise in test automation frameworks, tools, and CI/CD environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing (manual & automation).
  • Expertise in software testing techniques, including integration, system, and acceptance testing.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman or RestAssured.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Spinnaker.
  • Solid understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum or Kanban).
