End-user Device Management Specialist

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Intune Management Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our device management policies, ensuring security compliance, and enhancing user productivity through effective deployment and management of devices and applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Microsoft Intune Management

• Policy Deployment & Configuration: Manage Windows device policies through Intune MDM Policies, SCCM Configurations, and Active Directory Group Policies. Deploy and fine-tune policies across diverse devices to ensure smooth onboarding and consistent updates.
• Mobile Device & Application Oversight: Manage device profiles and applications to keep the mobile workforce productive and secure. Ensure endpoint security and facilitate productivity.
• Compliance & Security Enforcement: Maintain security and compliance through policies, restrictions, and conditional access.
Windows Autopilot Administration
• Profile Development: Craft and refine deployment profiles to streamline the setup and configuration of new devices.
• Device Lifecycle Management: Orchestrate the entire device lifecycle, from model selection to end-of-life.
• Provisioning & Troubleshooting: Address provisioning challenges with expertise, diagnosing and resolving issues.
Microsoft SCCM
• Create and Deploy Applications: Develop and deploy applications using PowerShell scripts.
• Troubleshooting of Client Devices: Troubleshoot issues related to agents, application deployment, and settings on client devices.
• Co-Management Knowledge: Leverage co-management skills as an asset to integrate and manage hybrid environments.
Operating System Management
• Troubleshooting Complex Problems: Troubleshoot complex issues on Microsoft Windows and Apple iOS systems.
• Escalation Point: Serve as the L3 point of escalation for unresolved technical issues.

• Microsoft Intune Implementation: Implement a unified MDM solution based on Microsoft Intune, migrating from hybrid SCCM environments. Develop, deploy, and manage mobile applications and management policies using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Team Leadership: Act as a technical lead, resolving complex issues, handling escalations, and training engineers. Serve as a subject matter expert for Configuration Manager integration with cloud services.
• Windows Autopilot Management: Design, configure, and manage Autopilot profiles, focusing on a smooth out-of-box experience for end users. Conduct pilot deployments, monitor rollout progress, and resolve provisioning issues. Ensure compliance with organizational security policies during deployments. Create documentation and provide training for IT teams and end users.
• Communication and Strategy: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align Autopilot strategies with business goals. Communicate updates, best practices, and industry trends to enhance deployment efficiency.
• Decision Making and End User Management: Make strategic decisions on behalf of the product owner. Manage end-user devices effectively, ensuring they meet the organization's standards and policies.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Windows Autopilot.
• Strong knowledge of mobile device management, application deployment, and security compliance.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation tasks.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills for Windows and iOS operating systems.
• Experience in managing device lifecycle and deployment profiles.
• Leadership skills to train and guide a team of engineers.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with co-management environments.
• Familiarity with conditional access and encryption settings.
• Ability to create comprehensive documentation and provide training.
