JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead large-scale, cross-functional engineering initiatives with significant business impact. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior engineering and product leaders, shape program execution practices, and help drive complex technical work from strategy through delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end program management for complex engineering initiatives spanning multiple teams and business areas.
  • Partner with senior engineering and product leadership to influence priorities, planning, and delivery decisions.
  • Build, refine, and scale program management processes, frameworks, and best practices across the organization.
  • Coordinate dependencies across teams, external partners, and competing priorities to keep programs moving forward.
  • Identify risks early, surface trade-offs, and drive timely resolution of escalations.
  • Communicate program status, challenges, and outcomes clearly to executive audiences and other stakeholders.
  • Contribute to technical and architectural discussions by providing informed input on feasibility, sequencing, and delivery risk.
  • Support initiatives involving wireless technologies, networking, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Use AI tools to help inform technical decision-making and support program execution.

Skills

  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management, with a strong record of delivering complex engineering programs.
  • Experience managing multi-team software initiatives across the full software development lifecycle.
  • Strong technical understanding with the ability to discuss architecture, system design trade-offs, and technical risk.
  • Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Experience driving clarity across complex stakeholder groups and aligning teams around shared goals.
  • Knowledge of wireless technologies such as 4G/5G and multi-WAN load balancing.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts including UDP/TCP, NAT traversal, and network security practices such as mTLS.
  • Experience with data pipelines, Kafka, Protobuf serialization, and AWS cloud infrastructure, including API gateways.
  • Ability to work on-site as required for the role.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in software, infrastructure, platform, or product engineering environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Understanding of distributed systems concepts.
  • Prior experience as a software engineer or in a technical role.
  • Experience improving program management tooling or organizational processes.
  • PMP, PgMP, or Agile/Scrum certification.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Comfort working with agentic AI tools and AI chatbots to support technical programs.
