Join a dynamic Agile team in a remote Technical Product Owner role focused on ServiceNow, where you’ll help shape priorities, clarify requirements, and support delivery in a fast-moving Scaled Agile environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys partnering with business and technical stakeholders to turn ideas into actionable backlog items and drive meaningful platform outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Work with stakeholders and product leadership to gather business needs and translate them into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Maintain and prioritize the backlog, balancing competing requests and helping manage dependencies across teams.
- Support Agile and SAFe ceremonies such as backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, PI planning, and retrospectives.
- Facilitate communication between business partners and technical teams to keep work aligned and expectations clear.
- Contribute to release coordination and help ensure delivery stays on track within the broader Agile roadmap.
- Guide solution discussions with an emphasis on native ServiceNow capabilities and platform best practices.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to help ensure requirements are well understood and ready for implementation.
Skills
- Experience supporting Agile software development teams in a business analysis or product ownership capacity.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow and familiarity with its development lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and documenting requirements clearly.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technical audiences.
- Experience operating in a Scaled Agile environment, such as SAFe or a similar framework.
- Ability to manage priorities, support structured delivery, and adapt to changing business needs.
Preferred Skills
- Agile certifications such as CSPO, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager, CSM, or similar.
- Experience stepping into Scrum Master or team facilitation responsibilities when needed.
- Previous involvement in ServiceNow implementations, enhancements, or modernization efforts.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, Agile Development modules, or native planning features.
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset with the flexibility to support both strategic and tactical delivery needs.
