Join a dynamic transportation technology team as an IT Business Analyst supporting key deployment and enhancement efforts across TMS and on-board computing solutions. This role offers the opportunity to partner with business stakeholders, guide requirements and testing activities, and help deliver practical technology solutions aligned to a global template.
Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into clear requirements that support improved process and technology solutions within the transportation management and on-board computing environment.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop business cases for new applications and enhancements, including evaluating costs, benefits, risks, and impacts.
- Support deployment activities by reviewing and prioritizing backlog items, helping resolve issues, and contributing to implementation readiness.
- Participate in discovery and analysis sessions to gather requirements for expansion into additional product lines.
- Create test plans and test cases, perform functional testing, and support user acceptance testing for assigned solutions.
- Help support and improve information systems by identifying issues, assisting with error handling, and working with senior team members as needed.
- Maintain clear, detailed documentation to support system understanding and continuity.
- Provide end-user training on supported applications when needed.
- Contribute to unit testing, integration testing, cutover, and hypercare support activities.
- Promote a strong safety culture by following all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
Skills
- At least 4 years of IT business analyst experience in road transportation.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting Mastery/Motive deployment efforts.
- Experience with at least one full lifecycle on-board computing deployment.
- Experience with at least one full lifecycle transportation management system deployment.
- At least 1 year of support experience with on-board computing and transportation management systems.
- At least 1 year of requirements-gathering experience in SDLC workshop settings.
- Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and matrixed teams.
- Self-directed approach with sound judgment, curiosity, and the ability to ask effective questions.
- Excellent time management and follow-through.
- Commitment to creating a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative workplace.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting Motive deployments.
- Background in road energy transportation business processes.
- Snowflake integration experience.
- Prior experience with cutover planning and hypercare support.
- Experience training users on enterprise applications.
