Join a remote team as a Senior IT Analyst / Programmer focused on Epic SER and provider records, where you’ll help build, maintain, and support critical provider data across connected healthcare systems. This six-month opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex issues, partnering with stakeholders, and improving the accuracy and reliability of provider information.
Responsibilities
- Build, configure, and maintain Epic SER provider records and related provider administration workflows.
- Support provider record processes such as login blueprints, SER blueprints, ePrescribing/Surescripts, external directories, care teams, and record merges.
- Triage and resolve Tier 2 and Tier 3 incidents, service requests, and data issues during business hours.
- Work across Epic and connected systems to support provider data flow, duplicate handling, and source-of-truth alignment.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to communicate updates and resolve issues effectively.
- Follow change control procedures, complete testing activities, and document technical processes clearly and accurately.
- Support integration points involving external data feeds and interface engines as needed.
Skills
- Hands-on experience with Epic SER and provider record administration.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and resolve issues efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience supporting master data management concepts, including provider matching and data governance.
- Working knowledge of documentation, testing, and change management practices.
- Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Epic Provider Administration Badge is required.
Preferred Skills
- Epic Security certification or related experience with user and SER record integration.
- Intermediate knowledge of Clarity and SQL.
- Experience with external/referring provider addresses and organization records.
- Familiarity with Epic Bridges and other healthcare interfaces.
- Exposure to MDM, QuARQ, MD-Staff, or similar external feeds.
- Experience using ServiceNow, automation tools, or AI-enabled support workflows.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
