We’re seeking a detail-oriented Design Team Support professional to help keep a fast-paced creative team organized, informed, and moving forward. This onsite opportunity is based in Minneapolis, MN, with local candidates only, and offers a chance to support design operations across product information, samples, presentations, and collaborative workflows.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support to the design team across multiple projects and priorities.
- Manage and update design and product information in SPARK/PLM and related systems to keep records accurate and current.
- Monitor project details, imagery, and supporting documentation, and partner with teammates to clarify or complete missing information.
- Use Miro and other collaboration tools to help organize workflows and support team planning.
- Track, organize, photograph, and document physical samples throughout the design process.
- Capture and upload sample imagery so design systems reflect the latest product information.
- Help prepare, set up, and break down design presentations by organizing samples, materials, and visual assets.
- Work closely with designers to maintain organized project files and support evolving needs throughout the design and development cycle.
- Assist with additional design operations and workflow tasks that help the team work efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy across systems and documentation.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and follow tasks through to completion.
- Analytical thinking and sound judgment when reviewing information and identifying next steps.
- Working knowledge of SPARK/PLM or a similar product lifecycle management platform.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience using Miro, SharePoint, and other enterprise collaboration tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a collaborative environment.
- Comfort working with physical samples, digital assets, and image organization.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
- Background in product photography, image management, or sample documentation.
- Knowledge of color analysis, color evaluation, or color matching.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- Proactive approach to anticipating team needs and keeping work moving forward.
