Bring large-scale event experiences to life as a 3D Event Designer specializing in SketchUp. In this remote contract role, you will help shape immersive environments for a flagship global tech event through fast-paced design, collaboration, and high-quality visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise 3D environmental designs and renderings in SketchUp for event spaces, stages, activations, exhibits, and attendee journey touchpoints.
• Translate creative direction into compelling spatial concepts that support branded, experiential event environments.
• Work closely with creative, production, and account teams to refine concepts and iterate on designs as project needs evolve.
• Support rapid turnaround timelines while managing multiple revisions and priorities efficiently.
• Contribute design thinking that helps bring a large-scale corporate event vision to life.

Skills

• Expert-level SketchUp proficiency with a portfolio that demonstrates experiential, environmental, or event design work.
• Experience designing for large-scale corporate events, conferences, summits, keynotes, or brand activations.
• Strong understanding of spatial planning, attendee flow, and branded live experiences.
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing project requirements.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a fast-moving creative environment.
• Availability to support the project through mid-November, with preference for full-time bandwidth or close to full-time availability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting major technology or enterprise brands.
• Background working on large-format experiential environments for well-known clients.
• Comfort contributing to concepts for attendee engagement areas and immersive brand experiences.
• Experience balancing creative detail with practical production considerations.
