JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a growing team as an IT Infrastructure Manager, where you’ll help design, secure, and support the network and infrastructure environment across multiple sites. This role offers the opportunity to shape standards, strengthen connectivity, and support expansion in a fast-moving, people-first setting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, configure, and maintain network infrastructure across all locations, including firewalls, switches, routers, wireless access points, and cabling.
  • Support and administer Cisco and Ubiquiti UniFi environments, including updates, configuration changes, and equipment lifecycle planning.
  • Manage ISP and telecom vendor relationships, including circuit setup, outage troubleshooting, renewals, and bandwidth planning.
  • Create and enforce network standards, configuration baselines, and documentation to promote consistency and supportability.
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery practices, including retention planning, offsite replication, and restore testing.
  • Implement monitoring tools and processes to identify and resolve performance, availability, and security issues proactively.
  • Support network design and deployment for new facilities and site expansions, including cabling, wireless coverage, and equipment selection.
  • Maintain accurate records for topology, IP schemes, VLANs, hardware inventory, and related infrastructure details.
  • Serve as an escalation point for infrastructure incidents and provide after-hours support for critical issues when needed.
  • Recommend new tools, vendors, and technologies that help the organization scale securely and efficiently.
  • Apply network security best practices, including segmentation, firewall management, VPN access, and coordination with broader security efforts.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience managing enterprise network infrastructure in a multi-site environment.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Cisco switching and routing, Ubiquiti UniFi, firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless network design.
  • Experience with structured cabling and fiber cabling standards.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex network issues under pressure.
  • Clear documentation habits and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for working with technical teams, leadership, vendors, and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and adapt as the organization grows.

Preferred Skills

  • Cisco certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, Ubiquiti UniFi certifications, or CompTIA Network+ or Security+.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or rapidly growing multi-site environments.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery platforms.
  • Experience with network monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Basic scripting or network automation experience.
  • Vendor coordination and project management experience.
