Join a dynamic digital health team as a Digital Product Manager supporting the continued enhancement of an inpatient digital whiteboard solution. This 12-month remote opportunity offers the chance to partner with clinical, technical, design, and quality teams to improve workflows, strengthen data accuracy, and create a better experience for patients, families, physicians, and nursing staff.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product backlog for new features, fixes, and enhancements in an Agile environment.
- Write clear user stories and help guide delivery from concept through implementation.
- Partner with clinical stakeholders and Nursing Informatics to understand inpatient workflows, operational needs, and edge cases.
- Work with technical subject matter experts and architects to align on data sources, integration points, and expected data quality.
- Collaborate with UX/UI teams to shape a user-friendly product experience and support stakeholder review and approval.
- Serve as the main product contact for development teams, helping identify risks early and communicate mitigation plans as needed.
- Support QA efforts by defining test scenarios, validating functionality, and participating in user acceptance testing.
- Assist with operational readiness activities, including communication planning and training materials for end users.
Skills
- Experience working in healthcare or health IT environments.
- Strong background managing products in an Agile delivery model such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to translate business and clinical needs into actionable requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue identification and escalation.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across technical and nontechnical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting inpatient care settings and clinical workflows.
- Familiarity with Epic EHR and healthcare system implementations.
- Hands-on experience using Jira for backlog management and issue tracking.
- Experience contributing to change management, training, or operational adoption efforts.
- Comfort using AI tools to improve documentation efficiency and enhance deliverables.
