Join a high-visibility analytics team supporting compensation programs that influence decisions across a global workforce. This six-month Business Intelligence Engineer II opportunity focuses on building dependable reporting, improving automation, and helping leadership make data-driven decisions with confidence.
Responsibilities
- Maintain weekly compensation reporting workflows, including data validation, cross-checks, and distribution to key stakeholders.
- Support compensation calculators and lookup tables through regular refresh cycles to ensure outputs reflect approved and current data.
- Process and verify sensitive retention-related data submissions and manage uploads that feed downstream reporting and compensation tools.
- Update reference mappings and implement configuration, pipeline, and logic enhancements as needed.
- Help manage secure access to confidential compensation data by following approval steps and maintaining audit records.
- Partner with data and BI engineers to design automated pipelines, scheduled processes, and self-service solutions in a cloud data warehouse environment.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve reliability, and create long-term automated solutions.
- Contribute to leadership-facing dashboards and reporting processes used on a weekly basis.
Skills
- 3+ years of experience working with data in Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar environments.
- Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating warehouse data.
- Python scripting experience for automating data workflows and repetitive tasks.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
- Experience using visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Ability to break down business needs into an analytical plan and deliver practical solutions.
- Clear communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Strong attention to detail when handling confidential and business-critical information.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with statistical analysis tools or packages.
- Background improving manual reporting processes through automation and self-service access.
- Familiarity with cloud-based BI tools and AI-assisted insights capabilities.
- Academic or professional experience in statistics, programming, or another quantitative field.
- Experience supporting governance, auditability, or access controls for sensitive data.
