Responsibilities
- Design, configure, operate, and continuously improve Power BI and Fabric platform capabilities.
- Automate repeatable platform tasks such as workspace, role, and environment setup.
- Support tenant, workspace, capacity, deployment, and access-control processes.
- Strengthen monitoring, logging, alerting, diagnostics, and overall operational readiness.
- Assist with capacity planning, performance tuning, and load testing for high-volume DirectQuery workloads.
- Troubleshoot issues across Power BI, Fabric, identity, connectivity, and data-access areas.
- Partner with IAM, cloud infrastructure, GCP/data-platform, security, and product teams to resolve platform challenges.
- Turn ambiguous problems into durable engineering solutions, documentation, tooling, and runbooks.
- Help onboard new business domains and reduce manual steps in the onboarding process.
- Work directly with users to understand technical issues and drive them to resolution.
Skills
- Hands-on experience with Power BI and Microsoft Fabric platform administration and support.
- Strong background in enterprise platform operations, not limited to report development.
- Experience with Power BI tenant configuration, workspace governance, and capacity management.
- Solid troubleshooting and systems-thinking skills across multiple technologies and teams.
- Familiarity with automation concepts or infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with users and stakeholders.
- Comfort working in a highly governed environment where standard recommendations may need to be adapted.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google BigQuery and GCP.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth, SSO, IAM, or identity federation.

- Cross-cloud architecture or troubleshooting experience.
- Experience with Power BI performance testing, capacity monitoring, APIs, or administrative automation.
- Familiarity with Google Looker.
