Join a dynamic healthcare analytics team as a Remote Epic & Tableau Healthcare Data Analyst, where you will help build meaningful dashboards, reports, and insights that support clinical and laboratory decision-making. This 12-month contract offers the opportunity to work with Epic reporting tools, Tableau, and modern data platforms in a fast-paced environment focused on data quality, compliance, and collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for clinical, operational, and laboratory teams.
- Develop reporting solutions using Tableau and Epic reporting tools, including Cogito-based capabilities.
- Extract, transform, and analyze healthcare data from Epic sources such as Clarity and Caboodle.
- Work with cloud and enterprise BI platforms to combine and present data from multiple sources.
- Support reporting and analytics efforts that follow HIPAA and PHI handling requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical leaders, laboratory stakeholders, and IT partners to translate business needs into clear analytical solutions.
- Help improve reporting processes and deliver insights that support informed decision-making.
Skills
- Professional experience with both Tableau and Epic reporting.
- Strong background working with healthcare data and clinical workflows.
- Understanding of HIPAA and PHI compliance standards.
- Ability to analyze data and communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working independently in a remote environment while staying collaborative and responsive.
Preferred Skills
- Epic certifications such as Cogito Fundamentals and Cogito Tools Admin.
- Additional Epic data model certifications, including Caboodle, Clarity, Clinical Data Model, or Beaker Data Model.
- Experience with healthcare laboratory data or Beaker-related reporting.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Business Objects, Google BigQuery, or Microsoft Power BI.
- Comfort working across multiple reporting and analytics platforms.
