Join a mission-critical Patient Platform team supporting digital healthcare experiences that help patients access information, communicate with providers, manage expenses, and navigate their care. This remote Senior Automation Test Developer role blends automation, manual testing, and U.S.-based administrative support to help ensure reliable releases across mobile and web applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and execute automated test coverage for mobile and web applications
- Perform hands-on manual testing to support quality across critical patient-facing platforms
- Handle U.S.-restricted test and environment setup tasks, including Epic data staging, VDI provisioning, and IP whitelisting
- Partner with offshore QA colleagues to help troubleshoot issues, remove blockers, and align on test strategy
- Support planned product releases and deployments outside standard business hours as needed
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows and help improve QA processes
- Create reusable, efficient, and low-maintenance test assets that support long-term scalability
- Contribute to clear communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders
Skills
- 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining web and mobile test automation frameworks
- Strong hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, Maestro, or QTP/UFT
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages used for test automation, such as Java, C#, Python, or Visual Basic
- Experience working with CI/CD and source control tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Git
- Ability to work independently, resolve issues proactively, and keep work moving forward
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Must reside in the United States and be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Epic systems and clinical data staging
- Familiarity with behavior-driven development and data-driven automation approaches
- Experience integrating visual AI testing tools such as Applitools
- Background using AI-assisted development tools to support script creation and framework maintenance
- Strong interest in process improvement and building sustainable test solutions
- Collaborative mindset and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
