Join a dynamic AI engineering team building next-generation agentic solutions that improve planning, allocation, forecasting, pricing, and operational execution. This remote contract opportunity focuses on designing, optimizing, and operationalizing AI agents in production environments using Python, LLMs, APIs, and cloud-native tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously improve AI agents that support enterprise business workflows
• Develop agentic workflows that automate tasks, streamline execution, and generate actionable insights
• Integrate large language models and AI services into production-ready solutions
• Connect APIs and SDKs to expand the capabilities of AI-powered applications
• Build backend services and supporting components using Python
• Support AI solutions in a cloud environment, with a focus on GCP and BigQuery
• Monitor performance, improve efficiency, and help optimize token usage and cost effectiveness
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver practical solutions
• Contribute to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing operational excellence for AI systems

Skills

• Strong Python development experience
• Hands-on experience building or supporting AI agents and agentic workflows
• Experience working with large language models and generative AI technologies
• Familiarity with AI SDKs or platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar tools
• Experience integrating APIs into AI-driven solutions
• Cloud experience, especially in GCP and BigQuery
• Ability to work with unstructured data
• Understanding of AI agent deployment, optimization, and operational performance
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset

Preferred Skills

• Background in AI Engineering, Software Engineering, Machine Learning Engineering, or Data Engineering
• Experience deploying containerized applications with Docker
• Exposure to CI/CD processes and automation pipelines
• Experience working in multi-cloud environments, especially with GCP and some Azure exposure
• Experience in retail, supply chain, planning, forecasting, or allocation
• SQL and/or R experience
• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or Google Agent Development Kit (ADK)
