Join a high-impact cybersecurity engineering team focused on building and supporting production-ready services that help advance AI-powered initiatives across enterprise platforms. This hands-on role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, delivering clean and reliable code, and working independently within established architecture and engineering standards.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, deploy, and support scalable back-end services, APIs, and related platform capabilities
- Develop production applications using Java or Kotlin, ideally in a Spring Boot environment
- Use Python to support automation, engineering tools, back-end services, and AI-related capabilities
- Design and integrate microservices and REST APIs within enterprise systems
- Translate requirements into actionable engineering tasks and deliver moderately complex workstreams
- Troubleshoot issues across development and production environments and implement durable fixes
- Work with containerized applications in Docker and Kubernetes environments
- Contribute to CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, and software delivery practices
- Participate in pull requests, code reviews, branching, and collaborative development using GitHub
- Identify technical risks, dependencies, and blockers, and help drive work forward independently
- Provide technical guidance and support to help unblock other engineers when needed
Skills
- 7+ years of hands-on software engineering experience supporting production applications and back-end services
- Strong development experience with Java or Kotlin, preferably in Spring Boot
- Proven experience designing and building microservices and REST APIs
- Hands-on Python development experience for automation, tooling, back-end services, or AI-related work
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in development, deployment, or production-support environments
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices
- Strong Git and GitHub workflow experience, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex application or service issues and deliver production-quality solutions
- Capability to own moderately complex engineering work within established technical direction
Preferred Skills
- Experience building or integrating AI-enabled applications, AI agents, or AI/ML services
- Background working with cybersecurity platforms, products, or engineering teams
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging technologies such as Kafka or Pub/Sub
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar relational or NoSQL data stores
- Experience using GitHub Actions or comparable CI/CD automation tools
- Experience delivering software in large-scale enterprise environments
- Exposure to modern web application development, design systems, accessibility, or state management
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
