Responsibilities

• Create clear process flows, wireframes, and visual mockups to communicate interaction ideas and design solutions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements using research, data, usability insights, and user-centered design principles.
• Evaluate and improve existing and new features through usability testing and analysis of user behavior data.
• Present design concepts and recommendations to UX, product, and executive stakeholders for feedback and alignment.
• Support user interface design standards and contribute to best practices across the product experience.
• Provide thoughtful design leadership with a focus on ecommerce trends, web application design, and innovation in the user experience.

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in interaction design for web or software applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in design, human-computer interaction, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of web information architecture, usability principles, and user-centered design methods.
• Ability to create and communicate design ideas clearly through wireframes, flows, and mockups.
• Experience working with analytics and usability findings to inform design decisions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with technical partners and multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
• Ability to prototype using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or Flash.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong, user-centered design work.
• Background in ecommerce trends, web application design, or interface innovation.
• Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable taking initiative in a dynamic environment.
