Bring your cloud expertise to a highly secure, mission-critical environment where you’ll help design, deploy, and support modern AWS infrastructure. This Senior Cloud Administrator role offers the opportunity to work with containerized workloads, automation, and emerging AI capabilities while contributing to reliable, compliant cloud operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support cloud infrastructure in AWS GovCloud with a strong focus on security and compliance
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Amazon EKS and Kubernetes
- Assist with cloud-native and AI/ML-related infrastructure initiatives
- Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Support CI/CD workflows and automation through GitLab pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile setting and track work in Jira
- Help ensure systems align with NIST 800-53 and FISMA requirements
- Automate routine tasks and contribute to improving platform reliability and efficiency
- Participate in cloud architecture discussions and support strategic platform decisions
Skills
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, ideally in a GovCloud environment
- Strong background in administering container platforms such as EKS and Kubernetes
- Experience using Terraform for infrastructure as code
- Working knowledge of GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with Jira and agile delivery practices
- Understanding of federal security and compliance frameworks, including NIST 800-53 and FISMA
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced technical environment
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting AI/ML infrastructure or related cloud services
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer
- Background in financial services or federal government environments
- Experience contributing to architecture planning and cloud strategy
- Prior exposure to highly regulated or security-sensitive environments
