Join a collaborative engineering team working on a 6-month software development opportunity in Eagan, MN, supporting the design, development, testing, and deployment of modern application solutions. This role offers the chance to contribute to impactful healthcare technology work while partnering with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate as an active member of a Scrum team throughout the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, and code review.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, QA professionals, and full-stack developers to build and enhance application systems.
• Work closely with clinical analysts, product analysts, quality analysts, and other technical team members to support successful delivery.
• Contribute to security and risk assessments that support the production deployment of application components.
• Help troubleshoot operational issues and engage with customers to understand requirements and resolve problems.
• Support on-call responsibilities as needed.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with at least 5 years of software development experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least 10 years of software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing software with Java and C#.
• 2+ years of experience working with lambda functions and/or step functions.
• 1+ year of experience with relational SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• 1+ year of experience developing, implementing, and deploying cloud architecture, especially AWS, for large-scale hosted applications.
• 1+ year of experience using Python for scripting and test automation.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working in Agile software engineering environments.
• Familiarity with documentation, configuration management, unit and integration testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Experience developing software for Linux/Unix-based operating systems.
• Background delivering enterprise software using solid design principles and architectural patterns.
• Ability to work independently and with distributed teams.
