We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to support IT Hygiene compliance initiatives in a hybrid role based in San Francisco, CA. This six-month contract offers the opportunity to help shape reporting, governance, and performance visibility across enterprise teams while partnering closely with IT and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain sustainable reporting processes that track adoption, maturity, and value realization for IT Hygiene initiatives.
• Partner with IT and business leaders to assess adherence to policies, standards, and compliance measures.
• Identify trends, gaps, and potential risks in process compliance and communicate findings to leadership.
• Prepare and distribute recurring compliance and performance updates for leadership stakeholders.
• Analyze results across teams or domains to help explain strong performance, challenges, and areas for improvement.
• Recommend enhancements to policies, measures, and operating practices to strengthen long-term compliance and governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional risk, compliance, and governance groups to support consistent interpretation and application of standards.
• Act as a process subject matter expert and help support operating model maturity across teams such as Scrum Masters, TPMs, and Business Analysts.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 6–10 years of experience in IT compliance, governance, analytics, or a similar discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify actionable trends.
• Hands-on experience with Jira.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
• Ability to build and maintain dashboards or reports using tools such as Power BI, Excel, or ServiceNow Performance Analytics/Platform Analytics.
• Solid understanding of IT governance and compliance practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with stakeholders across technical and business functions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting process oversight for Scrum Masters, TPMs, and Business Analysts.
• Familiarity with ITIL or COBIT frameworks.
• Experience working within large organizations with formal governance or audit processes.
• Background in building durable reporting mechanisms that support long-term operational improvement.
• Comfort working in a role that blends compliance, analysis, and process improvement.
