Join an agile HR product team supporting the design, configuration, testing, and delivery of Workday HCM solutions that improve employee and stakeholder experiences. This 4-month contract role offers the opportunity to partner with business and product leaders, solve complex HR technology challenges, and contribute to scalable process improvements in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders and product teams to gather, refine, and document Workday HCM requirements.
• Support the configuration, enhancement, and optimization of Core HCM capabilities within Workday.
• Translate business needs into functional solution designs that align with product goals and scalable processes.
• Participate in and facilitate discussions focused on workflow automation, business process improvements, and rule development.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, including issue tracking, validation, and defect resolution support before release.
• Collaborate with executive-level employees, product owners, and cross-functional partners to support successful delivery.
• Provide functional guidance related to the Workday Business Process Framework.
• Help manage release planning, product planning, and delivery expectations in an Agile environment.

Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer engineering, human resources, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant Workday experience.
• Experience gathering requirements, designing solutions, prototyping, and testing Workday Core HCM functionality.
• Strong understanding of HR functions and business rules, including payroll, compensation, recruiting, staffing, and benefits.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile team and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze needs, identify gaps, and support practical technology solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with global Workday configuration.
• Knowledge of offer letter setup, job requisitions, and dynamic job application process configuration.
• Experience supporting complex analysis of current and future product needs.
• Familiarity with Workday, Jira, and broader HR technology ecosystems.
• Ability to evaluate tools or vendors and support automation initiatives.
• Experience configuring workflows and business rules in complex environments.
• Comfort recommending process or technical improvements.
• Working knowledge of desktop technology, Microsoft Office, and Windows infrastructure.
• Awareness of cloud security considerations and potential vulnerabilities.
