JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re seeking a Project Manager to support a 9-month opportunity in Minneapolis, MN, where you’ll help drive project delivery from planning through implementation. This role is focused on coordinating deliverables, aligning stakeholders, and keeping scope, schedule, risk, and quality on track throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day execution of project deliverables and ensure work aligns with the approved charter and business objectives.
  • Develop, organize, and maintain project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures to support successful delivery.
  • Coordinate resource needs and work with key stakeholders to help ensure the right support is in place.
  • Track progress, identify risks and issues early, and take action to help keep the project moving forward.
  • Communicate status updates, action items, and key decisions to stakeholders clearly and consistently.
  • Support project governance by maintaining project artifacts, documentation, and required records.
  • Assess project performance and help identify solutions that support scope, timeline, cost, and quality goals.
  • Assist with change requests and help guide the project through obstacles and shifting priorities.
  • Collaborate with business partners, vendors, technology teams, and project leadership to align on goals and deliverables.
  • Help transition project outcomes into ongoing business operations at project completion.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Experience leading complex projects from planning through delivery.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound decision-making ability.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in changing or ambiguous environments.
  • Clear communication skills for preparing updates and engaging stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on driving results.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating across teams and functions.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working with structured project management frameworks and governance practices.
  • Background supporting projects with multiple stakeholders and complex interdependencies.
  • Experience providing coaching or guidance to team members involved in project delivery.
  • Ability to quickly assess situations and translate concepts into actionable next steps.
  • Familiarity with driving adoption and alignment across business and project teams.
