Join a dynamic healthcare technology team as a Full Stack Java Developer, where you’ll help design, build, and improve secure, high-impact applications that support important clinical operations. This 12-month remote opportunity offers the chance to work across the full stack, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and contribute to modern software solutions in a highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and support end-to-end features across front-end and back-end systems.
- Build robust services and application logic using Java and Spring Boot.
- Create responsive user interfaces with Angular.
- Design and optimize database structures, queries, and ORM models using Hibernate with PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
- Contribute to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing efforts to help ensure stability and security.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver reliable solutions for healthcare-related applications.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity in areas such as code generation, refactoring, and test creation.
Skills
- Strong experience in full-stack application development.
- Hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Solid front-end development experience with Angular.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.
- Ability to write and execute tests across multiple layers of the application.
- Familiarity with AI development tools such as Claude or OpenAI Codex.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting software in healthcare or another regulated industry.
- Exposure to microservices-based architecture.
- Background in secure software development practices.
- Ability to contribute ideas during technical planning and problem-solving discussions.
