JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a dynamic power infrastructure program supporting large-scale project delivery across multiple sites. This role oversees the coordination of temporary and permanent power solutions, from feasibility and permitting through installation, commissioning, and handover.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate multiple concurrent power deployment projects across several U.S. locations
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, deliverables, and progress reporting for leadership
  • Oversee technical review, execution planning, and cross-functional coordination throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure electrical installations and equipment align with required technical standards and project specifications
  • Support switchgear procurement, vendor coordination, order tracking, and delivery management
  • Monitor factory testing, shipment logistics, and installation readiness for critical electrical equipment
  • Own air permit application tracking, submission follow-up, and coordination with environmental consultants
  • Work with generator vendors to gather technical emissions data needed for permit documentation
  • Manage utility coordination, including service upgrades, transformer work, and electrical interconnections
  • Review electrical design documents, load calculations, and one-line diagrams to support project execution
  • Partner with contractors, vendors, internal stakeholders, and site teams to resolve risks and keep work moving
  • Travel to project sites during key installation, startup, testing, and commissioning phases

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience in power infrastructure, electrical systems, or a related field
  • Strong background in project or program management with the ability to lead multiple workstreams at once
  • Experience working with utility companies, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, generators, switchgear, and related infrastructure
  • Ability to review technical designs, specifications, and project documentation with strong attention to detail
  • Experience managing schedules, risks, budgets, status updates, and executive-level reporting
  • Familiarity with permitting coordination, regulatory processes, and environmental documentation
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing complex, fast-moving priorities
  • Comfortable making decisions, escalating risks early, and driving accountability across teams

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with switchgear procurement and vendor management
  • Background supporting air permitting for generator installations or similar infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, and local electrical code requirements
  • Experience coordinating natural gas generator systems and utility service upgrades
  • Familiarity with site launch activities, commissioning, and handover processes
  • Ability to manage complex work across multiple jurisdictions and regulatory environments
