JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a hybrid Product Manager opportunity focused on investment data, portfolio-related systems, and cross-functional delivery in a financial services environment. This role offers the chance to work on data validation, mapping, testing, and reconciliation efforts that help ensure accurate and reliable investment information across systems.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business, operations, development, and QA teams to gather and clarify business and system requirements
  • Create source-to-target mappings that document how data flows across upstream and downstream systems
  • Review data transformation logic, field mappings, and business rules to help ensure accurate processing of investment data
  • Perform data reconciliation to identify, investigate, and help resolve discrepancies between systems
  • Support data migration, integration, and enhancement efforts by validating completeness and accuracy of data
  • Develop test scenarios, test cases, and traceability matrices based on business needs
  • Support user acceptance testing by coordinating execution, documenting defects, and validating fixes
  • Use SQL and reporting tools to analyze data and support validation efforts
  • Monitor data feeds and interfaces to help ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Assist with production support by investigating data issues and reconciliation breaks

Skills

  • Experience with asset management or investment data
  • Working knowledge of SQL and basic database concepts
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Experience with source-to-target mapping and data validation
  • Background in user acceptance testing and test documentation
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile data across systems
  • Familiarity with financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, and derivatives
  • Exposure to security master data, holdings, positions, portfolio accounting, or investment reporting

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with IBOR/ABOR transactions
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and tracking
  • Prior work supporting financial services or investment technology initiatives
  • Experience working in a hybrid environment with onsite collaboration
  • Background in coordinating across multiple stakeholders and managing competing priorities
