Join a high-impact team supporting the design, development, and maintenance of complex applications in a cloud and on-premises environment. This role offers the opportunity to work on modern software solutions, geospatial technology, and AI-assisted development practices while collaborating in an Agile setting.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable software solutions based on complex business and technical requirements
- Develop and maintain applications in AWS and on-premises environments
- Create geospatial functionality using ESRI technologies such as mapping and geocoding
- Use AI tools, such as Claude or similar platforms, to improve productivity, troubleshooting, and code quality
- Implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and support containerized deployments with ECS
- Develop responsive frontend features using Angular
- Write clean, maintainable code and produce clear technical documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments
- Perform testing, debugging, and code reviews to help ensure application quality
- Support production systems and resolve issues as needed
- Contribute technical insight and help keep work aligned with project timelines
Skills
- 7+ years of experience in software development or programmer/analyst roles
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and modern web technologies
- Strong experience with Angular and full-stack application development
- Experience with AWS services such as ECS, S3, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway
- Knowledge of Terraform, Docker, and cloud-native architecture patterns
- Experience with ESRI tools or similar geospatial platforms, including map development and geocoding
- Ability to analyze requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working collaboratively in Agile environments
Preferred Skills
- Experience using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI tools in development workflows
- Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience providing technical guidance or supporting team delivery
- Background in creating architecture diagrams, data flow documentation, or other technical materials
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- AWS certifications are a plus
