Join a fast-paced eCommerce team building and supporting modern mobile experiences for a large consumer brand. This 5-month contract opportunity is ideal for an Android developer who enjoys working in a modular environment and delivering polished, production-ready features that make a real impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Android app features using modern development practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality mobile enhancements
• Work within a modular architecture to support scalable and maintainable code
• Develop solutions using MVVM patterns, coroutines, and flow-based asynchronous handling
• Integrate and support local data persistence using Room
• Implement dependency injection and app architecture patterns with Hilt
• Write and maintain unit and UI tests to help ensure reliability and performance
• Contribute to continuous improvement through clean code, code reviews, and Git-based workflows

Skills

• Strong hands-on Android development experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin
• Experience with Jetpack Compose
• Working knowledge of Hilt and dependency injection
• Experience with MVVM architecture
• Familiarity with coroutines and Flow
• Experience with Room and Retrofit
• Ability to write unit tests and UI tests using JUnit and/or MockK
• Experience working in multi-module Gradle builds
• Comfort working in Git-based development environments

Preferred Skills

• Experience contributing to large-scale consumer mobile applications
• Background supporting eCommerce mobile products
• Experience working in modular Android codebases
