Join a dynamic IT support team where you’ll help keep end users, devices, printers, and site infrastructure running smoothly in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role offers the opportunity to support a wide range of technologies while partnering with teams to resolve issues, maintain service levels, and contribute to a reliable day-to-day operation.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support for desktops, laptops, NetPCs, servers, printers, VoIP phones, and network equipment
- Install, configure, deploy, migrate, replace, patch, and maintain site technology assets
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across Windows and Linux-based environments
- Support manufacturing and office printing devices, including HP and Zebra printers
- Assist with Ethernet, wireless, LAN/WAN, firewall, router, switch, and VPN-related issues
- Deliver standard software support for tools such as Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams
- Accept, update, and close ITSM tickets in line with service expectations
- Monitor dashboards and help maintain performance targets for PCs, tickets, telecom, and system vulnerabilities
- Follow site, corporate IT, plant, and safety training requirements and activities
- Work independently with minimal direction while contributing to a collaborative support team
Skills
- At least 2 years of IT experience supporting PCs, servers, printers, and network infrastructure
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server operating systems
- Experience supporting Wintel and Linux environments
- Ability to troubleshoot and support LAN/WAN, wireless, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and standard workplace software
- Experience handling ITSM tickets and meeting service level expectations
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to stay organized, follow processes, and manage multiple support requests
- Self-motivated approach and comfort working with limited supervision
- High school diploma required
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting manufacturing or plant-based IT environments
- Background working with VoIP phone systems
- Exposure to vulnerability tracking or dashboard reporting
- Familiarity with hardware deployment, migrations, and asset lifecycle support
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, adaptable working style
