JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a team focused on modernizing reporting and analytics by transforming legacy solutions into scalable, modern experiences on the Microsoft Power Platform. This role is ideal for a hands-on problem solver who enjoys building Power BI, Power Apps, and automation solutions that improve reporting, streamline workflows, and support broader data innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Modernize legacy reporting and self-service portal solutions into Power BI and Power Apps–based dashboards, portals, and reporting tools.
  • Design and develop semantic models, DAX measures, and paginated reports that enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Build Power Apps applications and portals that improve user access to reporting and data.
  • Create Power Automate workflows to support refreshes, reporting delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Integrate data from Oracle and SQL Server sources while maintaining performance, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Apply reusable templates, standardized models, and automation approaches to improve consistency and maintainability.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into practical, well-governed technical solutions.
  • Support the team as a technical resource by troubleshooting Power Platform questions and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Contribute to emerging AI-based and conversational analytics initiatives, including tools such as Copilot Studio and platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and recurring modernization opportunities, and raise concerns when needed.

Skills

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, semantic models, and paginated reports.
  • Strong Power Apps development experience.
  • Solid working knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server, including writing and optimizing SQL.
  • Experience building solutions in Power Platform with attention to quality, reliability, and governance.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • More than eight years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience modernizing or migrating legacy reporting tools to Power BI and low-code solutions.
  • Experience developing Power Automate flows and broader automation solutions.
  • Exposure to AI-based or conversational analytics tools, including Copilot Studio.
  • Experience working with Snowflake and/or Databricks.
  • Background supporting enterprise solution delivery, including intake, design, testing, deployment, documentation, and enhancement.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and support peer learning.
  • Strong presentation and project coordination skills.
