Join a high-impact technical program management role supporting cybersecurity initiatives that help strengthen enterprise security operations, improve incident response readiness, and advance network protection capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to lead complex, cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment while partnering with security, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of security-focused projects across firewall modernization, network security, incident response, and threat intelligence initiatives
- Build and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, resource forecasts, risk logs, and status reporting
- Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and coordinate dependencies across technical teams and business partners
- Oversee firewall-related change management, migration, and upgrade efforts involving enterprise security technologies
- Support network security initiatives such as segmentation, zero trust, micro-segmentation, and perimeter protection improvements
- Drive projects that enhance incident response processes, playbooks, tabletop exercises, and response automation
- Coordinate threat intelligence platform efforts, including feed operationalization, SIEM integration, and vendor collaboration
- Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and stakeholder communications to keep projects aligned and moving forward
- Track project risks, resolve issues, remove blockers, and escalate concerns as needed to protect delivery timelines
- Partner with technical and executive audiences to translate complex cybersecurity topics into clear, actionable updates
Skills
- 10+ years of IT project management experience, including at least 8 years focused on cybersecurity or network security initiatives
- Proven experience delivering complex projects in large enterprise environments
- Background managing firewall migration, security infrastructure, or security operations projects
- Experience overseeing budgets of $500K+ and coordinating cross-functional teams of 10 or more
- Strong understanding of firewall technologies such as Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Fortinet, or Check Point
- Working knowledge of network security concepts including DMZ, segmentation, zero trust, and SD-WAN
- Familiarity with incident response frameworks, threat intelligence lifecycle concepts, and SIEM/SOAR platforms
- Experience using project management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, MS Project, or Smartsheet
- Ability to manage risk, issues, escalations, and change management processes effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
Preferred Skills
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, Security+, GIAC, or CCNP Security
- Experience in aviation, transportation, or other critical infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with FAA or TSA cybersecurity requirements
- Cloud security project experience across AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of PKI, certificate lifecycle management, or identity security
- Experience supporting security tool evaluations, RFPs, or vendor selection efforts
- ITIL Foundation, SAFe Agilist, or Scrum Master certification
- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for technical and executive audiences
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem solving and delivery
