We’re looking for a Data Product Manager to help shape and deliver data products that support Indirect and Reverse Logistics Supply Chain initiatives. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, analysts, source-system teams, and data engineering teams to translate business needs into clear data requirements and help drive modernization efforts to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Responsibilities
- Partner with business, analytics, reporting, and technology teams to identify needs and define data product priorities
- Translate business and analytical requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable deliverables
- Own and manage the product backlog, balancing value, dependencies, risk, and delivery timelines
- Develop a strong understanding of the underlying data to help validate requirements and troubleshoot issues
- Coordinate work across source systems, data engineering, reporting, and other product teams
- Proactively surface risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies, and communicate their impact clearly
- Support testing, validation, and adoption of data products in collaboration with engineering, analysts, and business users
- Help establish expectations around data quality, completeness, timeliness, and usability
- Contribute to data modernization and migration efforts to GCP, including pipeline, dataset, and reporting transitions
- Communicate priorities, progress, decisions, and upcoming work to both technical and non-technical audiences
Skills
- Experience in data product management or a related role
- Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements and delivery plans
- Strong backlog management and prioritization skills
- Working knowledge of data concepts, data quality considerations, and validation processes
- Experience coordinating across multiple teams and managing dependencies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to support delivery through discovery, development, testing, implementation, and adoption
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience supporting cloud data migration initiatives is highly relevant
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or similar cloud-based data environments
- Background supporting supply chain, logistics, or retail data initiatives
- Familiarity with modern data pipeline and reporting ecosystems
- Experience working with both technical teams and business stakeholders in a product-focused setting
- Ability to help drive change and adoption across teams
