Bring your commercial mortgage loan servicing expertise to a high-impact role supporting a portfolio of complex real estate debt transactions. This opportunity offers a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment where accuracy, collaboration, and strong analytical thinking help keep financial operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Service and administer a portfolio of commercial mortgage loans with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Research and process loan transactions, including payments, collections, disbursements, acquisitions, dispositions, and related accounting activity.
  • Prepare and review escrow analyses, amortization schedules, payment histories, payoff statements, billing requests, and adjustable-rate updates.
  • Maintain clear supporting documentation, workpapers, and transaction records for operational and reporting purposes.
  • Reconcile mortgage loan accounting activity and support financial, investment, statutory, and tax reporting needs.
  • Prepare, analyze, and organize operational and financial reports, responding to ad hoc reporting requests as needed.
  • Partner with internal teams, borrowers, servicers, and external stakeholders to resolve questions and move work forward efficiently.
  • Support technology initiatives, testing efforts, system enhancements, and process improvement opportunities.

Skills

  • Recent hands-on experience using SS&C Precision LM (PLM) within the last 3 to 5 years.
  • At least 3 years of commercial mortgage loan servicing experience.
  • Strong understanding of commercial mortgage loan operations and accounting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to manage complex data with confidence.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision and adapting quickly to shifting priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong time management in a high-volume environment.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative, accountable mindset.
  • Ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and recommend practical solutions.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in the insurance, mortgage investment, or commercial real estate lending industry.
  • Background supporting construction loans.
  • Familiarity with SQL query development and report writing.
  • Exposure to Qlik Sense, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, or Microsoft SQL Server technologies.
  • Experience contributing to reporting improvements, system testing, and implementation projects.
  • Comfort working in a deadline-driven setting with multiple priorities and changing needs.
