JOB DESCRIPTION

Join a collaborative operations strategy and execution team where you will help shape and deliver high-impact initiatives that improve efficiency, risk management, customer and employee experience, and operational performance. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple business areas, partner with senior stakeholders, and contribute to projects ranging from targeted problem-solving efforts to large, multi-year strategic programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic initiatives from early ideation and scoping through funding, execution, and benefit realization
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across operations and other business areas to drive alignment and progress
  • Design, execute, and deliver project plans that support operational strategy and business goals
  • Apply established project delivery standards to manage deliverables, timelines, reporting, risks, and issues
  • Create clear and useful reporting to support stakeholder decision-making and visibility
  • Provide governance and structure for assigned initiatives to keep work organized and on track
  • Build trusted relationships with senior leaders, team members, and business partners
  • Support financial management activities related to initiative planning and delivery
  • Contribute ideas and thought leadership to strengthen team practices, consulting approaches, and execution capabilities
  • Help support the broader vision, strategy, and effectiveness of the execution enablement function
  • Participate in project development, implementation, user training, and project evaluation as needed
  • Help manage project team performance and contribute to overall team effectiveness

Skills

  • Experience managing projects or strategic initiatives in a complex, cross-functional environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to organize work, manage priorities, and move multiple deliverables forward at once
  • Comfort working through ambiguity and solving complex business problems
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, and timelines
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to build strong working relationships
  • Analytical thinking and sound judgment
  • Ability to support governance, financial tracking, and structured project delivery
  • Commitment to professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement

Preferred Skills

  • Background in operations, financial services, or enterprise project execution
  • Experience supporting initiatives with both short-term and multi-year timelines
  • Familiarity with CapEx and OpEx funding processes
  • Experience creating executive-level reporting or presentation materials
  • Exposure to project governance, portfolio management, or business transformation efforts
  • Knowledge of banking operations or related business functions
  • Interest in developing executive presence and growing within a strategic delivery environment
