Supporting two strategic initiatives, this role will lead the end-to-end user experience process—from user research and journey mapping through high-fidelity design and developer handoff. The ideal candidate combines strong UX research skills with exceptional visual design capabilities and thrives in Agile, cross-functional environments.
Key Responsibilities

- Create user journeys, task flows, personas, workflows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Design high-fidelity user interfaces and detailed design specifications for engineering implementation.
- Partner closely with product owners, software engineers, business analysts, and research stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
- Establish and promote consistent design patterns, reusable components, and design system best practices across products.
- Ensure all designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and follow user-centered design principles.
- Present design concepts, rationale, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives while delivering elegant design solutions.
- Iterate on designs using qualitative user feedback, usability testing, and product analytics.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience designing complex web applications or enterprise software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating the complete UX process, including:

- Hands-on experience with Figma (or similar modern design tools) for wireframing, prototyping, and design systems.
- Experience conducting user interviews, usability testing, and incorporating findings into iterative design improvements.
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience working within Agile product teams alongside product managers, developers, and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain design decisions to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing AI-powered applications, conversational interfaces, chat experiences, or agentic user experiences.
- Experience designing data-intensive applications, analytics platforms, or research-focused software.
- Experience within healthcare, life sciences, biomedical research, or other regulated industries.
- Experience building or contributing to enterprise design systems and reusable UI component libraries.
- Experience using analytics and user behavior data to drive design decisions.
- Basic understanding of generative AI concepts and human-AI interaction patterns.
Nice to Have
- Experience with service design and workflow optimization.
