We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager to help drive complex technical initiatives from planning through delivery in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This onsite opportunity in Pleasanton, California is ideal for a detail-oriented project leader who thrives on cross-functional coordination, clear communication, and keeping multiple workstreams aligned toward shared goals.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical projects from kickoff through completion, ensuring scope, timeline, milestones, and deliverables stay on track
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and keep stakeholders informed with clear, timely updates
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource forecasts, and status reporting
- Identify risks and dependencies early, then drive practical solutions to keep work moving forward
- Support collaboration between technical and non-technical teams to improve alignment and execution
- Manage vendor relationships and help ensure external partners are aligned with project needs
- Monitor project quality and support testing, validation, and continuous improvement efforts
- Resolve blockers proactively and escalate issues when needed to support successful delivery
Skills
- Proven experience managing complex technical projects from start to finish
- Strong background in coordinating cross-functional teams and stakeholder expectations
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or Asana
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to present information clearly to different audiences
- Ability to build detailed project plans and manage timelines, scope, and resources effectively
- Experience identifying, tracking, and mitigating project risks
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remove obstacles and keep projects moving
- Experience supporting project quality standards through testing and validation
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with vendors and external partners
- Ability to support forecasting, actualization tracking, and resource planning
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methods in project management processes and tools
- Experience helping multiple teams stay aligned on common program goals
- Comfort working in an onsite environment and collaborating closely with teammates
