Responsibilities
- Design, build, configure, and improve ServiceNow applications and platform features aligned to business needs.
- Create and support Service Catalog items, record producers, workflows, Flow Designer automations, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and Script Includes.
- Develop and maintain REST and SOAP integrations using IntegrationHub and related ServiceNow capabilities.
- Partner with business analysts, architects, and governance teams to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for security, architecture, and quality.
- Perform unit testing and support system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and deliver sustainable fixes.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, configuration notes, and development standards.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives.
- Support deployments, production releases, and handoff to operational support teams.
- Follow platform governance, compliance, and secure development best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong experience with Service Catalog, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
- Experience developing REST and SOAP integrations.
- Background building scoped applications and complex workflow automations.
- Solid troubleshooting, debugging, testing, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Commitment to quality, security, compliance, and platform best practices.
Preferred Skills
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and Service Catalog implementations.
- Experience supporting large enterprise ServiceNow environments.
- Familiarity with Digital Employee Experience tools such as Nexthink.
- Experience with platform governance and secure development practices.
