Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming media inquiries and help coordinate timely, accurate responses with internal partners
• Develop clear messaging, talking points, and media materials that support business objectives

• Monitor media coverage and assist with issue-management support as needed
• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather information and finalize materials
• Support the execution of media relations strategies in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Skills

• At least 5 years of communications and media relations experience
• Demonstrated success building and maintaining relationships with journalists and media contacts
• Strong writing skills with the ability to create clear, compelling messaging and storytelling content
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently while staying organized and responsive
• Comfort working in a collaborative environment and partnering across teams
• Experience supporting media relations for organizations or companies

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting temporary coverage or similar short-term assignments
• Familiarity with media monitoring and issue-response workflows
• Ability to adapt quickly and contribute with minimal onboarding
• Background in creating messaging for business-focused communications initiatives
• Strong professional judgment and attention to detail
