We’re seeking an experienced SAP Commerce (Hybris) Developer to help support and enhance enterprise eCommerce platforms and a Product Browse application. This role offers the opportunity to own critical issue resolution, contribute to high-impact improvements, and collaborate with a team focused on stability, scalability, and strong technical execution.
Responsibilities
- Support and improve enterprise-scale SAP Commerce applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Investigate root causes and resolve complex incidents, especially those tied to order workflows and platform stability
- Design and deliver hotfixes and enhancements to support ongoing business needs
- Develop and maintain features across key Hybris modules, including cart and checkout, promotions, order management, and payment integrations
- Build and support integrations using Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, OCC APIs, and enterprise systems such as SAP ECC/S4
- Partner with technical and delivery teams to review code, share best practices, and support junior developers
- Contribute to release planning, governance discussions, and recurring operational meetings
- Help ensure solutions align with PCI, ADA, and security requirements
- Participate in cross-training efforts and knowledge sharing around Hybris, Java, and API integrations
- Support on-call coverage for priority production issues as needed
Skills
- 8+ years of experience in SAP Commerce (Hybris) development
- At least 2 years of technical leadership experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Hybris modules such as cart and checkout, promotions, payment integrations, and order management
- Solid background in Java/J2EE and Spring MVC
- Experience working with OCC APIs and integrating with SAP ECC/S4
- Ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues and improve application performance
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing practices
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, mentoring mindset
- Ability to work U.S. business hours with overlap as needed
Preferred Skills
- GraphQL experience for API-driven integrations
- Background supporting enterprise eCommerce environments
- Experience contributing to code quality improvements and internal documentation
- Comfort participating in production support and incident response processes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
