Join a fast-moving eCommerce content operation as a Project Manager supporting sample operations and product photography workflows. This onsite contract role in California keeps studio production organized, helps deliver high-quality imagery on time, and partners closely with creative, merchandising, digital, marketing, and post-production teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day flow of product photography from sample arrival through final image delivery.
- Plan and coordinate photo shoots with production and creative partners so products, talent, and resources are ready when needed.
- Prioritize items for photography based on business needs and changing timelines.
- Track and resolve reshoots and image correction requests, escalating issues when necessary.
- Maintain internal photography guidelines that support consistent product presentation.
- Keep stakeholders informed on shoot progress, potential blockers, and resolution paths.
- Serve as a key point of contact between the photo team and cross-functional partners across merchandising, digital, marketing, and post production.
- Help ensure finished assets are delivered accurately and on schedule to the right teams.
- Support workflows that move product images live on the website and help maintain image accuracy.
- Update production reports and tracking tools to provide visibility into work status.
- Identify workflow gaps and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Support seasonal planning and preparation for high-volume production periods.
Skills
- 4+ years of experience in photo production, project coordination, or eCommerce operations.
- Experience managing studio or on-figure photography workflows.
- Familiarity with product photography, studio production, or eCommerce content operations.
- Strong project management and asset tracking skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail in a high-volume environment.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to work across creative, operational, and business teams.
- Ability to solve problems proactively and follow through on complex tasks.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with creative, marketing, or retail teams.
- Comfort using tools and systems that support project management and asset tracking.
- Experience helping improve workflows and reporting processes.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while keeping work moving forward.
- Experience supporting seasonal planning or high-volume production schedules.
