Bring your field marketing expertise to a dynamic remote contract role supporting federal marketing initiatives for a fast-moving technology organization. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented marketer who enjoys turning plans into polished execution across events, campaigns, and cross-functional programs that help drive engagement and pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Execute already planned federal field marketing programs and campaigns for the second half of the year.
- Support the planning and delivery of tradeshows, customer events, partner events, executive dinners, and webinars.
- Partner with sales teams to prioritize marketing requests and align execution with business goals.
- Coordinate event logistics, vendor communication, registration processes, and onsite support as needed.
- Collaborate with marketing operations and corporate marketing to launch and support campaigns effectively.
- Help increase event attendance through invitations, communications, and follow-up activities.
- Track program performance and assist with basic reporting on event and campaign results.
- Support budget tracking and purchase order processes when needed.
- Manage day-to-day field marketing tasks while maintaining a strong experience for internal and external stakeholders.
Skills
- 2–6+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, or regional marketing within B2B technology.
- Strong project management and event execution skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and channel teams.
- Clear communication and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while staying aligned with a distributed team.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Splash or similar event platforms, Tableau, procurement or contract platforms, and Google Workspace.
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting federal or public sector sales organizations.
- Comfort working closely with engineering, sales, and marketing stakeholders on coordinated initiatives.
- Experience helping manage event attendance and post-event follow-up workflows.
- Ability to contribute to smooth budget tracking and purchase order coordination.
