We’re looking for a detail-oriented Experience Systems Specialist to help protect and improve a large-scale digital experience system. In this role, you’ll partner closely with design, engineering, and content teams to ensure templates, reusable page models, and accessibility standards are applied consistently and effectively across live digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Review and validate digital templates and live experiences to confirm they align with established experience system standards.
- Conduct pre-launch accessibility checks and document how accessibility requirements should be applied across components, templates, and interaction states.
- Partner with design system and front-end engineering teams to clarify template needs, resolve implementation gaps, and support accurate handoff.
- Translate design intent into clear, system-ready specifications that engineering teams can use during development.
- Identify inconsistencies in template usage and surface opportunities for system-level improvement.
- Help assess structured content models and authoring workflows to ensure they support reusable, scalable page patterns.
- Support content and template validation so authoring flexibility does not compromise consistency, accessibility, or quality.
- Flag ambiguous accessibility or template questions to the appropriate team for resolution.
- Contribute to stress-testing templates for edge cases, structural integrity, and launch readiness.
Skills
- 4–6 years of experience in UX, product design, design systems, design QA, or design-to-development handoff.
- Working knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility standards and experience applying them in production environments.
- Strong understanding of reusable page models, component libraries, token-based design, and experience system architecture.
- Familiarity with structured content models and CMS-driven design.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and content partners in cross-functional environments.
- Ability to communicate clearly and translate between design language and technical implementation needs.
- Comfort working in ambiguity while knowing when to make a decision and when to escalate.
- Detail-focused mindset with a commitment to consistency, quality, and scalable design systems.
- Proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, auto-layout, and annotation workflows.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with front-end HTML and CSS.
- Experience using accessibility testing tools such as axe, Color Contrast Analyzer, or screen readers.
- Exposure to generative content surfaces, AI-readiness considerations, or GEO-related content workflows.
- Experience documenting template behavior for production implementation.
- A collaborative, thoughtful approach to working with multiple teams and priorities.
