Join a fast-paced supply chain team supporting product operations in a highly cross-functional environment. This role focuses on driving supply chain improvements, optimizing lead times, managing risk, and supporting cost reduction initiatives across the product lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Partner with sourcing, planning, logistics, engineering, and finance teams to support balanced supply chain decisions and program execution.
- Track and improve operational performance across cost, lead time, and risk management throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and support cost reduction initiatives that consider total cost of ownership, including spares, service, replacements, tariffs, and logistics impacts.
- Analyze supply chain data from multiple sources and turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations and reports.
- Lead lead time optimization efforts and help build roadmaps that improve transparency and reduce shortages.
- Maintain supply chain requirements through general availability and end-of-life phases.
- Support cross-functional implementation of product design changes and engineering change orders.
- Conduct root cause analysis and help improve processes to prevent recurring issues.
- Serve as a communication point for supply chain updates, decisions, and progress across stakeholders.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, commodity management, or product operations management, ideally in electromechanical commodities.
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively without direct authority.
- Experience with supplier relationship management and performance tracking.
- Working knowledge of global hardware and electromechanical supply chains.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High degree of autonomy, good judgment, and the ability to know when to escalate issues.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in robotics, electromechanical systems, or other technology-focused industries.
- Background in both new product introduction and sustained operations supply chain management.
- 5+ years of experience across multiple commodity types such as electromechanical, metals, plastics, or ICs.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Familiarity with PLM tools such as Agile.
- Proven success in cost reduction and lead time optimization initiatives.
- Experience with scenario planning, risk mitigation, tariff management, or trade compliance.
- Advanced degree such as an MBA, MS in Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
- Experience with Product Development Process frameworks.
