Join a dynamic team focused on building high-quality, parametric Revit content for dental equipment used in professional construction documentation. This hybrid opportunity in Mendota Heights, MN offers the chance to create standardized, efficient BIM families that support accurate scheduling, coordination, and design workflows.
Responsibilities
- Develop custom Revit families from 2D drawings, sketches, and manufacturer specification sheets.
- Create lightweight, performance-optimized parametric components that function reliably across defined parameters and constraints.
- Build and maintain nested families, formulas, type catalogs, and other advanced Revit content elements.
- Integrate metadata such as dimensions, materials, OmniClass/UniFormat codes, and shared parameters for scheduling and documentation.
- Review and audit family files to help ensure quality, consistency, and alignment with established standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate progress clearly throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
- Proven experience working in Revit Family Editor.
- Strong knowledge of parametric modeling, including nested families, arrays, formulas, and type catalogs.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturer documentation accurately.
- Understanding of BIM workflows and how model components are used in real-world documentation and scheduling.
- Experience creating clean, organized, and efficient Revit content.
- Portfolio or sample .rfa files demonstrating strong family creation and parametric control.
- Ability to complete a background check and drug screen upon offer.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Autodesk Revit 2026.
- Familiarity with Fuzor.
- Experience creating construction-ready content at higher levels of development.
- Background in architectural, structural, or MEP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing reliable, standardized BIM assets.
- Comfort working in a hybrid environment and providing regular updates through common communication tools.
