JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Designer to support fast-paced, high-visibility projects that span presentation design, editorial graphics, brand storytelling, and immersive in-store experiences. This is a hybrid role based in Minneapolis, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, creative problem-solving, and delivering thoughtful design work that helps bring ideas to life.

Responsibilities

  • Develop visually compelling design concepts for presentations, editorial materials, brand assets, and experiential projects.
  • Translate ideas into polished deliverables such as decks, mockups, signage, layouts, and other creative assets.
  • Support the design process from early research and concept exploration through refinement and final production.
  • Create sketches, renderings, technical specifications, and design guides to communicate concepts clearly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to gather feedback, align on direction, and move work forward efficiently.
  • Contribute to exhibit and space-related design work, including installations, displays, and environmental graphics.
  • Use design tools and digital collaboration platforms to organize work, present ideas, and support project execution.
  • Manage multiple priorities with urgency while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
  • Work independently when needed and help create structure in ambiguous, evolving project environments.

Skills

  • 4-year degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5–8 years of experience in editorial and communication-based graphic design.
  • Strong end-to-end design process, including research, concept development, iteration, and final execution.
  • Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Strong presentation design and visual storytelling skills, especially for infographic and leadership-facing materials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and digital whiteboarding tools such as Miro.
  • Experience creating brand-aligned design solutions within established guidelines.
  • Ability to work quickly, think critically, and bring order to complex or fast-moving projects.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Comfort working on-site as needed and supporting physical installation tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with graphic design in space, including exhibits, displays, or immersive environments.
  • Background in branding, including logos, marks, packaging, signage, and image systems.
  • Working knowledge of generative AI and emerging design technologies.
  • Video editing experience.
  • Product design experience.
  • 2D animation skills.
  • Experience creating concept sketches, mockups, and prototype-ready design materials.
