Join our dynamic team as an IT Support Specialist, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring seamless technology operations in a fast-paced environment. This position will be onsite in the New York City offices, supporting employees onsite as well as those that work remotely.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 helpdesk support, addressing technical issues through various channels such as walk-up windows, online tickets, and phone calls.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems for both Apple and Windows products.
- Deploy and manage laptops and desktops using enterprise management tools.
- Assist with audio-visual setups for meetings and events, ensuring smooth operation of AV systems.
- Administer software services and manage inventory for hardware and software.
- Collaborate with escalation points to enhance the end-user experience.
Skills
- 2-3+ years experience in IT support roles, with a strong understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Proficiency in managing Apple computer products using enterprise tools.
- Hands-on experience with Windows laptops and desktops.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Excellent customer service skills and a positive, service-oriented attitude.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ITIL Service Desk software and enterprise workflow management systems.
- Background in customer-facing roles, such as retail or technical support.
- Familiarity with AV systems and setups for meetings and events.
