Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced AVEVA PI Platform Engineer to support enterprise operational technology (OT) data integration initiatives across a growing portfolio of capital projects. This role will focus on bringing near real-time operational data from generation facilities into the enterprise PI ecosystem while developing Asset Framework models, analytics, and data visualization solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess deep hands-on expertise across the AVEVA PI platform, including server-side infrastructure, data integration, Asset Framework (AF), analytics, and PI Vision. This individual will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions that enable high-quality operational data to be integrated into enterprise systems and leveraged for advanced analytics and business insights.

This individual will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions that enable high-quality operational data to be integrated into enterprise systems and leveraged for advanced analytics and business insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support end-to-end AVEVA PI solutions across operational and enterprise environments.
- Integrate near real-time operational data from generation facilities into enterprise PI ecosystems.
- Develop and maintain Asset Framework (AF) models, analytics, and calculations to support operational decision-making.
- Build and enhance PI Vision dashboards and visualizations for business and operational users.
- Configure and support highly available PI server infrastructure and front-end PI applications.
- Develop processes and solutions that improve OT data accessibility, quality, and usability within enterprise IT environments.
- Support OT-to-IT data integration initiatives and facilitate data distribution to third-party systems and applications.
- Collaborate with project teams, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver project objectives.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and team meetings.
- Represent the team in project discussions, stakeholder meetings, and technical reviews.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting end-to-end AVEVA PI platform solutions.
- Strong expertise with:
- AVEVA PI System Administration
- PI Data Archive
- PI Asset Framework (AF)
- PI Analytics
- PI Vision
- Real-time data collection and management
- OT/IT integration architectures
- Industrial data integration protocols
- Experience designing and supporting highly available PI environments.
- Strong understanding of operational technology (OT) and enterprise data ecosystems.
- Proven ability to independently deliver technical solutions and project outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with scripting and software development.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and platforms.
- Experience with AVEVA Connect and related cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of enterprise analytics and data visualization best practices.
- Experience supporting utility, energy, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
