Join our team as a Staff Product Designer, where you'll lead the charge in content strategy and language-driven product design. This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative AI-enabled writing experiences and influence content frameworks across our portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of content strategies for advisor experiences, ensuring effective information structuring and prioritization.
- Design and develop language products, focusing on AI-enabled writing experiences and establishing content hierarchies.
- Create scalable content frameworks and models, documenting insights for organizational use.
- Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to align data modeling with content and UX needs.
- Integrate content thinking into product development, aligning decisions with business strategies and user needs.
- Apply human-centered design methods to advance AI-enabled decision-making in digital products.
- Establish and track success metrics for content and language experiences.
- Work with design system partners to ensure content patterns align with broader governance approaches.
- Influence content and experience decisions through expertise and collaboration, using storytelling to build trust and relationships.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields such as Interaction Design or Content Strategy.
- 6-8 years of experience in content strategy or UX writing within product development teams.
- Proven ability to design language products and content systems, with a focus on AI-enabled experiences.
- Strong communication skills to explain content and design decisions effectively.
- Experience in developing processes for content and information architecture challenges.
- Self-directed and proactive, with a passion for driving progress independently.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration to deliver business value.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in designing or training AI writing systems and content generation tools.
- Advanced storytelling and persuasion skills within a content and design context.
- Strategic content thinking to contribute to organizational content and design strategy.
