Join our team as a Sr. Systems Engineer and play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining a hybrid Exchange environment. This is your chance to ensure reliable email services and compliance across our organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the hybrid Exchange infrastructure, including both on-premises and Exchange Online systems.
- Handle mailbox migrations, manage mail flow, and ensure seamless hybrid connectivity.
- Set up and maintain transport rules, data loss prevention policies, and email security features.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve user email problems efficiently.
- Implement anti-spam and threat protection measures using Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Manage user provisioning, distribution groups, shared mailboxes, and permissions.
- Conduct eDiscovery, legal holds, and compliance investigations as required.
- Document configurations and maintain system architecture records for future reference.
- Provide end-user support and training on email features and functionalities.
Skills
- Extensive experience managing Exchange environments, with a focus on hybrid systems.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for Exchange administration tasks.
- Hands-on experience with mailbox migrations and hybrid deployments.
- Strong understanding of email security and compliance implementations.
Preferred Skills
- Certification as a Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate.
- Experience working in environments with over 500 users.
- Familiarity with ITIL or service management practices.
