Join our dynamic team as a Senior Data Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting and analyzing data anomalies across various environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with multiple teams and contribute to complex data initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze data issues reported by business units.
- Collaborate with ETL, Replication, and DBA teams to document data transformations and movements.
- Ensure proactive support methodologies for data movements and transformations.
- Assist in production validation and break-fix scenarios related to data structures.
- Contribute to the setup and configuration of Data Virtualization and Master Data Management tools.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for data standardization, dictionary, and lineage.
- Interpret patterns and trends from various data sources.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented agile environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in SQL with experience in OLTP, Data Warehouse, and Big Data databases.
- Experience with Exadata and SQL Server databases.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to write medium to complex stored procedures.
- Effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Extensive experience in writing complex queries.
- Knowledge of data movement and processing, including ETL, API, and OLAP.
- Excellent communication skills and self-motivation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Denodo and Master Data Management.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies like Hadoop and MongoDB.
- Knowledge of Postgres and cloud environments.
