We are seeking a detail-oriented Scheduler to support the government affairs team and advocacy campaigns by managing high volume scheduling logistics and communications. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives while working in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule meetings with congressional offices and participants for advocacy events.
- Manage scheduling updates and maintain organized records throughout the campaign.
- Prepare and distribute logistical documents and participant communications.
- Respond to scheduling inquiries and provide support to participants.
- Assist with administrative tasks related to event planning and execution.
Skills
- Minimum of one year of experience in an administrative role focused on scheduling and calendar management.
- Strong proficiency in tools such as Zoom, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Asana.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality and exercising discretion.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in event planning or government affairs is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Capitol Hill and advocacy processes is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service orientation and collaborative working style.
